The first ENEREXPO VIETNAM, International Exhibition for Renewable
and Decentralised Energy Solutions, took place from 17 to 19 March 2010 at the
I.C.E. – International Center for Exhibition in Hanoi. An impressive display of quality was
on show at this premiere. Global players like Avantis Energy, GTZ, MWM Asia Pacific,
Schott Solar Deutschland and Vestas all used this event to launch their
activities in a young and highly promising market. German companies took part
in an official German participation, as part of the export initiative
'Renewable Energies' supported by the German Federal Ministry of Economic and
Technology. The 24 exhibitors at ENEREXPO VIETNAM
came from a total of nine different countries, among them China, the USA,
Denmark, France, Switzerland,
Singapore and also Vietnam.
The main focuses of the exhibition
included wind and solar energy, biogas, photovoltaic systems and the transmission
and distribution of energy. 1,508 well-informed trade visitors, eager to learn
more, sought expert advice direct from the exhibitors on the latest
technologies and solutions. ENEREXPO attracted decision-makers from the whole
of Vietnam,
and also from neighbouring countries. An accompanying conference programme
featuring top-class experts further consolidated the launch of ENEREXPO as an
important trade fair for renewable energy in Vietnam.

was supported by a
range of leading partners, among them Germany´s engineering
federation (VDMA – Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau),
