IMAG
has taken into its portfolio the premiere of an exhibition in Hanoi dedicated to renewable energy. ENEREXPO
Vietnam takes place for the first time between 17 and 19 March 2010 in the
I.C.E. – International Center for Exhibition,
where it will be offering a first-class service for exhibitors and visitors
alike. The event is supported by an impressive line-up of partners, among them
the VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen-
und Anlagenbau), Germany´s engineering federation, and the ZVEI (Zentralverband Elektronik-
Elektronikindustrie e.V.), the German electrical and electronics
engineering federation. Germany´s Federal Ministry of Economic and Technology
is also supporting the event through its export initiative 'Renewable
Energies'. Together with the co-organiser, MOST – Ministry of Science and
Technology / NACESTI -, Hanoi,
IMAG is offering the international suppliers in the sector a tailor-made
exhibition platform. At a press conference in Hanoi
in April 2009, experts from the industry in Vietnam and local media
representatives gave an enthusiastic initial response to the new event.
Since the opening up of the country and its accession
to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) in 2007, Vietnam
has developed into one of the most important growth markets in Asia. In the last three years alone, GDP has grown by an
average of 7.8% per year. Energy consumption is increasing at 17 percent per
year, due in part to country districts now being connected up to an electricity
supply. Demand is steadily rising across the full spectrum of renewable energy
– solar power, wind energy, biofuels, and geothermal energy – and for
decentralised supply solutions. As a result, tremendous opportunities are
opening up in this market for international suppliers.
| | ENEREXPO
Vietnam 2010 offers an excellent opportunity for entering this market. All the
key countries exporting products and services in this sector will have the
chance to showcase the capabilities of their manufacturers in their own
national pavilions. ENEREXPO Vietnam reaches the most important decision-makers
from across Vietnam
and also attracts visitors from neighbouring countries. Through cooperations
with a range of industry partners, an extended PR campaign and an attractive
programme of symposia, ENEREXPO Vietnam 2010 will be a central marketplace for
renewable energies. |
IMAG´s
programme encompasses over 50 events in around 20 different countries. The
company has been operating in the Vietnamese market since the early 1990s. Its
current portfolio in Vietnam
features events in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. IMAG´s expertise in the
Vietnamese market and its close cooperation with professional partners in Vietnam promise
an excellent start to ENEREXPO Vietnam 2010.
